Intergenerational Activities

A Little Help Provides Members Access to A Variety of Events and Programming

Whether in person or virtually, all members are encouraged to attend our community-building events. After all, getting out and getting involved is energizing! Below are examples of the activities in our various locations. Please contact us at office@alittlehelp.org if you are interested in starting a group in your neighborhood or would like to participate in any of these activities.

Interest Groups

  • Book Groups - Book groups are open to volunteers, members, and those not yet formally part of A Little Help. Check your local newsletter calendar for details about books and meetings.
  • Other interests - Please let us know if you'd like to help host a group in your area, centered around interests/classes like yoga, dance, foreign language, cooking, knitting/crocheting, etc.

Picnics and Mixers

Picnics are held from the late spring through early fall. Check the calendar of events to find a picnic near you. Picnics may be held at picnic grounds or in homes.

Holiday Party

Our annual Holiday Party provides an opportunity for everyone connected with A Little Help to gather and celebrate the season. Board members, staff, volunteers, members, families, and anyone interested in learning more about A Little Help are all invited.

Little Talks and Virtual Excursions

Each month, A Little Help offers a chance to learn and gather information relevant to today and possible issues that concern or affect us through our Little Talks which are sponsored by Kaiser Permanente. We also offer the excitement of escaping to other parts of the world through our Virtual Excursions.
