Membership in A Little Help includes a variety of social and educational activities. These include a monthly dinner on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at an area restaurant chosen by the members. During the summer months we have a picnic in the park, with food provided, for a nominal fee.
Our book club is open to all our members and meets at the First Ave. Presbyterian Church at 120 W. First Ave on the last Saturday of each month at 11:00. Enter from the south parking lot.
If you like to walk for exercise but need some encouragement or want some companionship, join our "walkers" who meet every Thursday morning at 7:30 am at the corner of Franklin and Exposition Streets.
Our Events Committee is busy scheduling a variety of events for our members, and these programs are often open to the general public. The time and location varies, so check the monthly newsletter for details. Some of our recent programs include a "Mini Antiques Road Show," a program on "Water in Colorado," "The Extraordinary Stories of our Ordinary Lives," and a visit to the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Visit the "Events Calendar" and click on the event that interests you for more information.
