Executive Director
Raised in East Washington Park and Historic Baker, Paul has over twenty years' experience building organizations and promoting positive social change.  He is passionate about the mission of A Little Help and the pairing of volunteers with their aging-in-place neighbors to help them stay and thrive in their homes for life. He is the first full-time Executive Director of our organization and currently serves as the President of the Baker Historic Neighborhood Association, was the President of the former Broadway Merchants' Association, and is a member of the Lincoln Elementary PTA.  Paul holds a doctorate from the Iliff School of Theology.  He earned a Masters of Divinity from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor's from Abilene Christian University.  Paul delivered the Rocky Mountain News to several of our members as a boy and is a proud graduate of Denver South High School.  He also currently serves as Pastor of Mayflower Congregational Church United Church of Christ in Englewood.  Paul is the head coach of his daughter Lucy's (7) soccer team (the Superstars) and is active in his daughter Grace's (9) activities.  He enjoys wrestling with his son Park (2) and black lab Oscar (11).  He is an avid reader, musician, aging athlete and Denver sports teams fan.  His wife Sarah is a teacher at Cherry Creek High School.

This is an exciting time for A Little Help!  In the coming months we have our first big volunteer training, interesting programs (like retirement classes), the Uno de Mayo Fiesta and Fundraiser, and Service Saturday!.  We are doing our best to enhance the lives of people 55 plus in the neighborhoods we serve.  If you need more information or would like to give feedback, please send me an email (paul@alittlehelp.org) or give me a call at the office (720-242-9032).    - Paul

With A Little Help you will continue to get rides to the doctor, dentist, and grocery store.  With A Little Help you will still be provided access to recommended service providers and volunteers that can help you with those nagging little chores around the house.  With A Little Help you will continue to be provided with opportunities to build community through book and walking groups, monthly dinners and lunches, and other special events throughout the year.  You will get a lot with A Little Help.  In 2012, we are adding new services like a 24 hour, seven-day call line to reserve our services at any time and special Service Saturdays! to work with partnering schools and service groups for things like yard raking and spring cleaning.  We are confident that as a valued and loyal member of our organization you will get even more with A Little Help.
