Patricia Ruth Maher, a local writer and member/volunteer with ALH, will speak on her experience and adventures with AMD (Age-related Macular Degeneration), and the results of her research regarding this disease, common to seniors, including methods of slowing AMD progression. An extensive display of her recommended magnifiers, binoculars, kitchen tools, catalogs, supplies, ect. will be featured. Pencils and paper for note-taking will be available if needed. A Little Help will provide light refreshments. This is a FREE event for all who wish to attend!
