Every other month we provide our members and volunteers with the opportunity to be enlightened on numerous different subjects by an informative panel of experts in their profession.  Topics are chosen with feedback from members and volunteers as well as from the many relevant topics occurring in the world around us.

Join Us For Our Live, Virtual Bi-Monthly Little Talk Gatherings. Open To All.

Our Little Talks are sponsored by Kaiser Permanente!

Our Little Talk is at Noon on Wednesday, August 2nd. Once you have RSVP'd we will send you a zoom link.

All you need to know about the effects of the heat, humidity, and abundance of rain this summer. As well as, taking care of yourself in the heat and sun and the increase we are seeing in West Nile and the Hantavirus.

We have 3 amazing speakers joining us.

  • Dr. Tracy Ellen Lippard -Dr. Lippard serves as the Executive Director of Complex Needs, Community Health, & Government Programs at Kaiser Permanente, Colorado, and nationally as the Clinical Lead for Complex Needs and Elder Care at Kaiser Permanente’s Care Management Institute. She will be speaking to us about how to take care of ourselves when out in the summer heat and using sunscreen.
  • Emily Darrell is a communications and technology specialist with the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment. Emily is passionate about public health, with an emphasis on animal-borne illness. Emily is also an adjunct professor at the University of Northern Colorado where she teaches a variety of courses related to public health. Emily holds her Master of Public Health with a Community Health Education Concentration.  Emily is going to speak with us about West Nile and the Hantavirus in Colorado.
  • Lisa Romero is a Senior Community Health Specialist with Kaiser Permanente Colorado. She supports investments in community health initiatives related to access to healthcare and environmental stewardship. Lisa is a physician assistant, with a background in primary care.
