Board Member

Bob Brocker

Bob is a long-serving volunteer, board member and former board president of A Little Help. He is the Founder and President of AgeWise Colorado, a 501c3 nonprofit. AWC provides a free-to-use connecting point for the 3 million Coloradans over the age of 40+ who need to find vetted service providers, reliable information, and free to attend educational events to improve their aging journey in our state. Bob has served as a volunteer advocate for our state’s fast-growing 60+ population for 14 years in various capacities, including as board president of the Colorado Center for Aging, and as a member of the DRCOG AAA Advisory Committee on Aging.

Bob’s pre-volunteer career led to over 20 physical relocations in the U.S. while filling many roles in the freight railroad industry from trainman to train operations and IT executive and steering a small Texas railroad out of bankruptcy; and as a consultant to several large companies in the freight transportation and related IT industries.

He loves this quote from Robert Louis Stevenson:  “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant.”
