Service Saturdays! are twice-yearly events providing volunteer assistance for seniors in Denver, Jefferson County, Chaffee County, and North Fork Valley with various home maintenance jobs, cleaning, organizing, raking, and other household tasks. A Little Help Service Saturdays! are great opportunities to pitch in and help your neighbors. We welcome volunteers from companies, churches, groups, families (including young children), and individuals. Service Saturdays! run from 8 a.m. – noon and begin with coffee and pastries.

It can be difficult to find time to volunteer sometimes, A Little Help Service Saturdays! provide the chance for busy folks to lend a helping hand to their neighbors.

• Saturday, May 13th - Paonia (Apple Valley Park)
• Saturday, May 20th - Denver (North/Northeast, Northwest) (Christ the King School)
• Saturday, June 3rd - Denver (Central/South/Southeast) (South High School)
• Saturday, June 10th - Jefferson County and western Denver (Mile Hi Church)
• Saturday, June 10th - Salida (Thonhoff Park)

What you will be doing as a volunteer

Service Saturday! provides an excellent opportunity for A Little Help members to receive assistance with various home maintenance jobs, such as inspecting handrails, cleaning cupboards and refrigerators, de-cluttering closets, washing windows, dusting cobwebs, touching up paint, polishing furniture and floors, cleaning rugs, organizing paperwork, and just overall yard work.
