Make a Difference in Your Community

"Volunteerism is one of the most important and beneficial actions that we can take as human beings. Our ability to provide our time and expertise can make an immense difference in the world around us and within the communities that we reside."

-Eric Burger, Marketing Communications Manager, VolunteerHub

If you can spare a few hours per week or every other week to drive to doctor appointments, run errands, or make phone calls, please start by filling out an application form.

What we do wouldn’t be possible without neighbors of all ages, who volunteer to provide services and who connect with the A Little Help members.  These connections enable older members to meet neighbors who can offer a little help, whether by assisting with tasks around the home and yard or by reaching out for social calls and visits.

A Little Help’s mission is connecting neighbors to help older adults thrive. We build our model neighborhood by neighborhood, neighbor by neighbor. As a volunteer providing services, we invite you to engage where your passions lie. There are a variety of ways to get involved, including direct service, social engagement, and outreach.

We also strive to provide opportunities for teens and younger volunteers to be involved. As a nonprofit organization, we can provide students with school community service hours, and we are happy to complete the necessary paperwork to show their participation.
