Dr. Paul Leon Ramsey

Raised in East Washington Park and Historic Baker, Paul has over 25 years’ experience building organizations and promoting positive social change. He is now the Major Gifts Officer of the UCC Pension Boards. Paul was the first full-time Executive Director of A Little Help, and holds his doctorate from the Iliff School of Theology. He earned his Masters of Divinity from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor’s from Abilene Christian University. Paul previously served as the Chair and then Vice Chair of Denver’s Commission on Aging and on its Advocacy Committee, the Vice Chair of the national Village to Village Network’s Board of Directors and on its Strategic Growth committee, the President of the Baker Historic Neighborhood Association and the former Broadway Merchants’ Association, and as a member of the Colorado Senior Lobby, Generations United, the Lincoln Elementary PTA. Paul is active in his children’s, Grace, Lucy, and Park, activities and is an avid reader, musician (he is the lead singer and songwriter for Leon and the Revival), aging athlete, and Denver sports teams fan. He is also the Pastor of Mayflower Congregational Church United Church of Christ in Englewood and his wife, Sarah, is a teacher at Cherry Creek High School.
