A Little Help started in the Denver area in 2005 with neighbors wanting to help neighbors. Bill and Pera Beth Eichelberger, founders of Washington Park Cares(now A Little Help), learned about the model of aging in community. Believing that this was the kind of approach they wanted, they shared information about his model with their neighbors, held community meetings, and assessed the interest in their neighborhood of starting a similar organization. In 2007 they raised funds, formed a Board of Directors and registered with the State of Colorado for nonprofit status. n 2011 an Executive Director, Paul Ramsey was hired and from there the story just keep going and growing! In 2016 we began our move to parts of Jefferson County. We continue to grow in Jefferson County and look to grow even more into Northern Jefferson County as well as Arapahoe and Douglas Counties.

If you would like to see more of A Little Help in your neighborhood, we would love to hear from you.  We are always looking for folks who want to help us get things started.  It all starts with volunteers who are ready and willing to give just a little time.
